One of my fondest childhood memories is my Nanny's laugh. The reason I remember it so vividly is that when she told us she was dying with "The Cancer" I suggested we take her to a local taxidermist and have her stuffed so we could keep her in our room and play with her. She laughed until she had tears rolling down her face.
Kids know what they know. That's what makes them so precious.

If only we could keep that innocence throughout our lives. Imagine the heartache we'd avoid.
What a little sweetheart Shane is, to want to "fix" his Grampa.
I promise - it will get easier.
(((hugs)))
