Another Favor to Ask

I know I have asked so much of you already, I'd like to ask a little more. I've told my Dad about all the wonderful people pulling for him in the blogosphere.

I'd like to show him just how many.

I want all of you to send me a PIC of yourself. Even you lurkers out there that have never commented. You don't have to send me names or addresses if you don't want, just a face, cyber id, and a state or country. I'd like to create a poster for my Dad. One of the perks of sharing an office with the IS guy is that I have access to a poster printer.

I want to show him the faces of the complete strangers & longtime friends from all over the world that have been sending him healing thoughts and prayers. Something like that can have a positively powerful impact. It also helps keep me busy and feeling like I'm doing something, no matter how small, to help.

Lurkers, occasional readers, faithful commenter's........

So what do you think? Are you up for it? Puuuullllllleeeeaaaaasssseee! With a cherry on top.

If that's a yes, then please e-mail your PIC, cybername & geographical location to sharfa84@yahoo.com, put MOJO in the subject line (so I can distinguish you all from my freecycle e-mails). Of course I would post a smaller finished version here on my blog.

Thanks.

Going to have to make a note to myself to dig through my pics when I get home to try and find a mojo poster-worthy one, but I'm in!

:-)

Out of curiousity though, if there's a demand for it do you think you might sell copies of the poster to us "Lurkers, occasional readers, faithful commenter's"?

Thanks James. I am sure we could work something out for the poster, after all you guys have done for me!

James has a good idea. If you did manage to make posters available, the proceeds could be donated to one of the many organizations for cancer research.

Every little bit helps the cause in searching for a cure or better treatments.

Just a thought. :)

Glad to send one, as soon as I figure out how. I'm hideously inept at this sort of thing.

I don't suppose the one that shows up when I post a comment can be pulled by you? That's what I would send, anyway.

Suldog - it does and I can probably cut & paste with your permission.

Denise - good idea, now you've got all kinds of creative juices flowing in me. Something tells me this simple idea might just take on a life of it's own....

I have not forgot- I am waiting on Tammy to come home so you can have the power of my three- Her mom is at Emory Hosp. with a aneurism headed to her liver. We are going to do a power prayer and take pictures for you when she gets home- hopefully this week-end. :) love, love...

Update: She called just a bit ago and there is a mass in her mom's liver so she will not be coming home...I will think of something.

Man, I am so pulling for you and your family. I am a lame-o though, re the issue of blog anonymity. You can use that yellow generic smiley-face for my pic. You all are in my prayers.
