The Best of Intentions

Someone had the best of intentions when they created this....or did they?

If This Doesn't Give You the Warm Fuzzies

The video below is amazing. "It was Disability Awareness day and the folks at Fenway did a lot of great things for kids with challenges..here is one who sang and when he got nervous the Fenway Faithful helped him out" Can you feel the love?

Wacky Weather

I worked from home Monday due to the snowstorm. We ended up with about 8 inches, not as bad as they predicted (shocker). Son loved having no school and making a couple bucks snow blowing driveways. They're predicting another couple inches Thursday night.

Last week we had green grass and 60 degrees.

New England, gotta love it.

Need a

Laugh?

What I did while drinking coffee this morning

I posted this site not too long ago but it's worth another mention if you haven't been there yet.
Stunning photography. I'd visit Wyoming just to rub his belly!

You also have to check out Vespa Vagabond.
Same author different story.
How many of you would take a cross country trip on a Vespa?
A very ballsy petite blond did.

Can you believe that there are only days/hours until Lost finally comes back! It seems like it's been forever.

And for some cavity inducing sweetness check out this baby Polar bear.

I finally dumped dial up at home and have gone broadband! It's very exciting and soooo fast. I was fed up with dial up - couldn't stand being online at home anymore because it was so frustrating. Right now I kinda feel like that first little crab in Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. I'm all Weeee! Weeeee! Weeeee! and jumping for joy. The first bill will be like Prostetnic's door opening up and landing on my head! Actually, I got the phone/internet deal through Comcast. Which works out that I'll end up saving money.

Thank God it's Friday. It's cold and rainy and miserable. I want to be like Eva, home doing this.

Dustmeister

So far Dusty has been a real sweetie through her heat.
She follows me even more than usual, only to crouch and riggle every time I speak to her.
She has been going to bed when I do - she sleeps next to me, and sleeping through the night.
There has been no caterwauling, she hasn't even gotten loud.
My heart goes out to the poor thing though.
Lot's of scratching and petting to give whatever comfort I can, I refuse to go as far as some have.
That's just wrong on so many levels. I don't think I could bring myself to molest my cat.
Hopefully this will be the worst of it and I can schedule her to be fixed after Christmas.
This is just one of the many things I have neglected doing over the last few months.
Grief really is a bitch that turns your life inside out, upside down and backwards.

Negative is a Good Thing

The pet scan is clear. No uptake, no lymph nodes, negative, nada, no cancer.

It's a good thing.

Now it's a matter of figuring out just what caused the nodules.

I cried tears of relief and gratefulness.

Thank you God, Goddess, the Universe, fate.
